Our founding President, Diana Goad, was one of these volunteers and she was\u00a0determined to\u00a0bring\u00a0Canadian museum volunteers together and to\u00a0give them a voice on the international stage. At our inaugural meeting, Diana\u00a0admitted, \u201cVolunteers have been living on optimism for\u00a0many years.\u201d Indeed, it was this optimism that brought her to the WFFM and to begin assembling Canadian Friends.
