This award is a collaboration between the CMA and the Canadian Federation of Friends of Museums (CFFM).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Submission Deadline:\u00a0<strong>August 15, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Eligibility<\/summary>\n<p>The nominee for this award is an individual or a group that has demonstrated an outstanding contribution to a public, non-profit museum or related heritage \/ cultural institution in a volunteer capacity. This contribution can be made&nbsp;as a member of a volunteer committee, a board of trustees or in another volunteer organization. The nominee must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>have made a significant impact through their volunteer work\/activities;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>not have received payment for their volunteer work;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>not have performed the services as part of their regular business or professional duties.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/details>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group nfd-container nfd-p-lg nfd-theme-white nfd-bg-surface nfd-wb-features__features-5 is-style-nfd-theme-white has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns are-vertically-aligned-center nfd-text-base nfd-gap-3xl is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Criteria<\/summary>\n<p>Each nominee will be assessed against the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Value:&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;Nominee exercised an important service to the museum and the community.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Innovation:&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;Nominee initiated new programs or activities and used new methods to solve problems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Achievement:&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;Nominee accomplished desired results.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Impact:&nbsp;<\/strong>The activity or service produced positive changes and provides examples for other groups.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dedication:<\/strong>&nbsp;Nominee demonstrates ongoing enthusiasm and commitment to volunteerism and to the cultural and heritage field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Nomination instructions<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The nomination must be supported by someone with individual or institutional membership in the CMA or CFFM. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>You simply have to complete and submit our&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/museums.ca\/survey.html?surveyId=290\">nomination form.<\/a> <\/strong><strong>This form requires the following information:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Nominator\u2019s contact information: telephone number, mailing address and email<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nominee\u2019s contact information: citizenship, date of birth, sex, telephone number, mailing address and email address<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nomination statement from the institution (that employed the volunteer) clearly describing the volunteer\u2019s activities and accomplishments (max. 300 words).
