Young Friends Event (Montreal)

Join the Young Friends in Montreal for a holiday themed embroidery workshop at the Musée des Métiers D’Art du Québec (MUMAQ). The workshop begins at 1pm and will be followed by an optional tour of the museum.

Young Friends Event (Ottawa)

Join the Young Friends in Ottawa for a Scavenger Hunt at the National Gallery of Canada! We will meet at 6:30 pm in front of the gift shop near the main entrance of the gallery. Participants will have until 8pm to explore the gallery and find as many of the art works on the scavenger hunt as they can. At 8pm, participants are invited to join us for drinks at Nan’s Parlour in the Byward Market.

Please note this event is open to youth (ages 18–35) from the public.

Carol Sprachman Lecture

Join us at Maison Forget (1195 Sherbrooke St. W., Montreal) on November 14th at 7pm. This year’s lecturer is Dr. Patricia Kell, Executive Director of the National Trust for Canada. Tickets are free.

Young Friends Event (Ottawa)

Join the Young Friends in Ottawa for a visit of the Canadian War Museum, preceded by drinks at the Museum Café. The pre-event will start at 5pm and will be followed by a group walk through of the War Museum’s new exhibition “Outside the Lines: Women artists and war” at 6pm. Tickets are free.
