CFFM first published its newsletter in 1982. Renamed Au Courant since then, we now publish three to four electronic issues a year. With stories and articles from our regional members and news from our international friends, Au Courant promotes our volunteers and connects Canadians to both the national and global network of museum Friends.

LATEST ISSUE

The CFFM’s Fall 2022 issue of Au Courant contains fascinating articles from the Canadian and the World Federation of Friends of Museums networks.

The Canadian Federation of Friends of Museums (CFFM) is pleased to publish the Fall 2022 issue of Au Courant. This edition celebrates volunteers from around the world and the museums they work in. The variety of museums and heritage sites to be discovered in Canada and abroad is a living expression of our rich multi-cultural history. Without the core of active volunteers sustaining them, this wide array of museums would not exist. See articles written by David Reeves of the Canadian Canoe Museum, Lori Philips' feature on the Crooked Tree Museum and Cultural Heritage Center in Belize, and lastly, Florence Reckinger and Catherine de Jamblinne of Les Amis des Musées de Luxembourg.
